March Events
@ Pettee Memorial Library
Hello All,
Happy March/almost SPRING! Woo-hoo! We are looking forward to some warm weather and more fun events at the library that we hope you’ll be able to attend.
A big THANK YOU to everyone for your patience while we were closed for a couple weeks as our furnace was being replaced. Your well wishes were very much appreciated, and we’re glad to be open and warm again.
Our Flatbread Fundraiser was a huge success this past Tuesday. We thank all who were able to stop by and support us for our biggest fundraiser of the year. Shout out to our AWESOME Friends of the Library for putting together the fundraiser. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated!
Despite our library closing, we are so glad we were able to reschedule our “Magic of Motown” event, which will now be on March 8th. It’s guaranteed to be a blast from the past with some great music, memories, and trivia!
We’ll also be doing an intergalactic puzzle contest, an egg craft to welcome Spring, and a treasure hunt for St. Patty’s Day this month. Fun, fun, fun!
Also, sneak peek to April… yes, we sure are bringing back the tiny art show! Stop by the circulation desk to pick up a mini canvas this month and get painting or drawing, any medium you’d like. Or, if you’d rather, this year we’re also accepting photography and sculpture — the entries just have to be tiny, at around 6 to 8 inches tall. All ages and artistic abilities are invited to participate, and we’ll host a reception on April 12th.
Please see below for more details and to see all the other March happenings.
See you soon!
