December Events
@ Pettee Memorial Library
Hello All,
Greetings from your favorite little library in Wilmington, Vermont. (Also… the only one but hey, who’s counting.) We hope this newsletter finds you warm and well. We have some fun and interesting events this month that we hope you’ll be able to enjoy with us.
On Saturday, December 13th, the library will have back-to-back happenings, starting with a cookie swap and take-home crafts, followed by a special winter skies presentation, and concluding with the Wilmington Recreation Committee’s merry little “Lights in the Park” stroll through Buzzy Towne Park. Please feel free to partake in some or all of the fun on this festive day.
Thank you all so much for your generous donations for our two drives going on until the end of December: the Windham County Humane Society pet food/toy drive and the Deerfield Valley Food Shelf collection. Any and all donations (non-expired/non-perishable) are still being graciously accepted. Not sure what to donate? There is a need for the following items: tuna, canned stew, oatmeal, peanut butter, canned chicken, chili, soup, pasta sauce, laundry detergent, and menstrual products. Many thanks again!
Just a little reminder, the library will be closed Thursday, December 25th. With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we hope you all are able to find some much deserved peace and quiet. If not, you know where to come. 😌❤️
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season,
Pettee Staff
