August Events
@ Pettee Memorial Library
Happy (almost) August to all,
Summer’s still in full swing, and there’s lots to look forward to this August over at your favorite little library. This weekend, alongside Bad Art Night and the Blueberry Block Party, we will be hosting our annual book sale to help support our library and future programming.
We are so grateful for our Friends of the Library for organizing and staffing this fundraiser. Swing by solo or bring a friend and support your library this Saturday 10am-7pm or Sunday 12pm-2pm.
Oooh… and did we mention that there are Pettee Memorial Library tote bags for purchase at $25, which you can then fill with as many book sale items as you can possibly fit?
Nice, right? Shout out to Christos Contakos with Sailsmith Bags, LLC for hand- making these amazing tote bags.
Lastly, please reach out to us if you have any ideas for Fall offerings. We would love to have more community members involved in offering classes. We are still 🤞hoping🤞 to get community help organizing a canning & preserving class and possibly a bulb exchange event, so let us know if you have a lead.
Thanks for your support, and hope to see you soon!
